1. To open the field details view, tap the selected field displayed on the map.
You can also swipe up the bottom sheet (the element with your farm name on it) or tap the farm name. Next, select the field from the list.
Once you tap on the field, the vitality details appear at the bottom of the screen.
Here, you can see the current biomass map creation date, vitality level, vitality change (the difference between the 2 latest biomass maps represented by the color and percentage), and cloud coverage. You can tap on the dates to switch between the maps and observe how the biomass vitality changes over time. To access older maps, tap the See all button.
Tap on the toggle to show only clean images containing less than 5% cloud coverage.
I can't see biomass maps for some periods. If the cloud coverage is too high, it is not possible to calculate the vitality of the crops. Read this article to learn how biomass vitality is calculated. |
To close the list of all biomass maps, swipe down or tap the icon.
If you want to check biomass distribution, tap the graph icon.
Here you can see the exact size of each vitality zone based on the latest biomass map. To close the view, tap the icon.
2. To access more information about the field, tap the field name or swipe up.
In the detailed view, you will see the following elements:
Action icons
At the top right corner of the field details view, there are three action icons:
Tap the icon to display the field’s location in the external map application (for example, Google Maps or Apple Maps). You can use it to set the driving directions to your field.
Tap the icon if you want to share the field.
Tap the icon to change the field details - name, crop and its variety or seeding date.
Basic information
At the top of the detailed view, you can see the crop type, field size, field ID, and seeding date.
Field status
Field status informs about the priority. You can use it to differentiate between the fields and quickly find those that need your attention. To set the status, tap on the selected one.
You can change the status as often as you need. You will see the change confirmation at the bottom of the screen. In addition, information about the update will be visible on the Feed.
Weather
Below the basic information, you can see the current weather, today’s weather, and the forecast for tomorrow. The forecast is based on data from several weather stations and forecast models.
Vitality overview
The graph shows vitality rates from the last 12 months. If you tap on a specific point on the graph, you see the exact vitality value with the date.
To access more detailed vitality information, log in to the desktop version of Arvorum. You will be able to display and analyze the vitality graphs summarizing data from 3, 6, 9 and 12 months and use the biomass distribution graph. Use the credentials from the Arvorum APP to log into the desktop version. |
Soil Moisture
If you connect your CropX account with Arvorum and install a sensor on the field, you will see the soil moisture status.
Tap More to access detailed information such as moisture level, EC, soil temperature, and leaching history.
Field activities
Scroll down to browse the Field activities. Here you can see all events, notes, and tasks related to the field. Thanks to this section, you can access the historical data, performed and planned operations in one place.
You can switch between the Feed, Notes, and Tasks concerning the displayed field.
- The Feed summarizes the most important updates - from the field creation to status changes.
- The Notes section contains the list of all scouting notes created for the field you are displaying.
- The Tasks section contains all tasks connected to the field. You can browse current and done tasks. From that level, you can also mark them as done.
3. To close the field details view, swipe down or tap the icon next to the field’s name.
